La Bohème

Over the years I have ben lucky enough to see opera in some of the great cities and with some of the great companies. Provincial opera is always a litte more hit and miss.

That said tonight’s performance by Opera International (formed of opera companies from Chisnau and Odessa) was very good. If you don’t know the story there’s a synopsis here (don’t worry I picked the short version). Ok there was a bit of a rough patch at the end of Act Three and some waiting while the scenary was shifted around but all in all it was a good evening out.
